The 5th Uswathunnabi International Academic Conference 2026 is proudly announced, continuing its commitment to advancing scholarly engagement with the life, legacy, and universal teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. This prestigious academic gathering is being organized in collaboration with the Department of Arabic, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad, and the University of Tübingen, Germany, strengthening its global academic partnership and interdisciplinary reach.
The theme for this year’s conference is:
“The Prophet ﷺ in Motion: Travel, Migration, and the Ethics of Connection”
This theme invites critical reflections on the dynamic dimensions of the Prophetic Seerah, particularly focusing on migration (Hijrah), journeys in pursuit of knowledge, intercultural encounters, diplomacy, and the ethical frameworks of human connection inspired by the Prophet’s ﷺ life and teachings. The conference aims to provide a scholarly platform to explore how these timeless principles remain relevant in addressing contemporary global challenges related to mobility, identity, coexistence, and ethical engagement.
Scheduled for 18 September 2026, the conference will bring together leading scholars, researchers, academics, and students from across the world to share research findings, exchange ideas, and contribute to meaningful academic dialogue.
The organizing committee now invites abstract submissions from researchers and scholars whose work aligns with the conference theme. All submissions will undergo a peer review process, and selected presenters will have the opportunity to present their work before an international academic audience.
We encourage passionate researchers and scholars to take part in this global academic conversation and contribute to the growing body of Seerah studies and related disciplines.
