1st Uswathunnabi
International Academic Conference

The first Uswathunnabi International Academic Conference marked the formal beginning of a global academic initiative dedicated to the scholarly study of the life, teachings, and universal values of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Conceived as a platform to revive Seerah studies in an academic framework, the inaugural edition set the vision for promoting research-based understanding of the Prophetic model and its relevance to contemporary challenges. Organized in collaboration with Fatmawati Sukarno State Islamic University, Bengkulu, Indonesia, and Sir Syed Hall (South), Aligarh Muslim University, the first edition drew participation from students, scholars, and young researchers across different institutions.

This edition laid the intellectual foundation of the conference by encouraging interdisciplinary conversations, bridging traditional Islamic knowledge with modern academic inquiry, and giving emerging scholars a space to explore ethical, social, and leadership dimensions of the Prophetic legacy. As the starting point of the Uswathunnabi movement, the first conference established the values of authenticity, academic integrity, and inclusive scholarly engagement principles that continue to guide all subsequent editions.
